We Are Hastings! Formerly known as Multicultural Potluck
This event is yours to reimagine! The Hastings PTO would love to host an event that celebrates the school’s rich cultural diversity and allows students and their families to share their heritage and learn about the ethnicity and traditions of their classmates, friends, and neighbors. The Hastings Multicultural Potluck was typically a fun annual event where we all got to celebrate the diverse cultural background of the Hastings community. Nothing has been typical over the past few years, yet building community and understanding different cultures is as important as ever.
Can you help create Hastings’ next beloved tradition? We are SEEKING TWO VOLUNTEERS (Co-Chairs) that can work to create a fun and engaging event for the Hastings community. You will be supported by the PTO Secretary who will assist you in event logistics; booking the space, ordering tables etc. Your VP and PTO Co-Presidents are also there to support you. A simple Hastings Sign Up Genius form is typically very successful at recruiting the volunteers you will need for set and and clean up of the event. We are Hastings could even be run in conjunction with the Big Map Night for double the excitement!
