Dolvin PTA is looking for some awesome parents to donate their time to better our school and support our children. We have worked hard this past year to streamline procedures and events to make our positions easier, manageable and appealing to EVERYONE. Whether you work full time, part time, or are a stay at home parent, we have opportunities that work for all of you.

2020-21 Dolvin PTA Board Positions *

Co-President: Oversees and coordinates the various PTA programs with the Vice Presidents of the PTA Board. Conducts monthly PTA Board meetings and presents voting decisions. Helps to establish and manage the PTA budget with the Treasurer and Controller.

Vice President of Support Services: Oversees and coordinates Staff luncheon events (back to school and curriculum night), first day welcoming event for students arriving at school, and responsible for Staff Appreciation Week.

Vice President of Program Funding: Overseas and coordinates with committee chairpersons for membership, yearbook, Tanner, School Store, Box Tops & Publix Partners, and Spirit Wear.

Vice President of Special Events: Overseas and coordinates with committee chairpersons for K-2 Ice cream social, Spirit Days, Math Night, Bingo Night, and Family Fun Night.

Treasurer: Overseas and maintains accurate and detailed financial records, reconciles and generates monthly reports for PTA meetings, handles PTA bills, check requests & deposits, allocates PayPal funds, and prepares IRS tax returns and records for annual audit.

Recording Secretary:Attends monthly PTA Board meetings, responsible for taking meeting minute notes, reporting minutes after the meeting and assist with other various PTA events and programs where needed.
