The Dodgen PTSA is looking for members interested in serving on committees for the 2022-2023 school year. Responsibilities and time commitments vary widely. We have roles that can be filled exclusively from home, some that require frequent visits to Dodgen during the school day, and everything in between.

 

PTSA NOMINATING COMMITTEE NEEDS YOU!

The PTSA is looking to fill a number of committee chair roles. If you are interested in serving, or know parents who you feel would be an asset to the PTSA, please contact PTSA President Angela Blackwell with contact information and position of interest. 

Current roles we are looking to fill include:

  • Arts in Education (Reflections) Chair -The Chair of this National PTA arts award program will help Dodgen students gain confidence in their abilities to explore ideas and learn through the arts. Students submit original works in dance, choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography and visual arts, during the month of October, which is National Arts and Humanities month. Chair responsibilities include attending informational meetings, promoting and publicizing the program, official kick-off and administering the delivery of student Reflection entries.
  • Community Outreach Co-Chair
 
Copy Crew - Dodgen PTSA is currently looking for additional help with the copy crew. Training is provided, and you can set your own schedule. Contact Ashley Mangine for more information at copycrew@dodgenptsa.org.   
 

Learning Commons

The LC is preparing for a new scheduling system and looking for new/returning volunteers to assist with shelving books, checking in books and provide general help. Volunteers may sign up for monthly time slots or be emergency volunteers to fill in when there are cancellations. Please contact Junko Gupta for more information.
