Welcome to the Lexington High School Counseling Department’s Post-Secondary Planning website. The purpose of this website is to serve as a guide to assist students through the planning process for life after high school. There are many options available for students to choose from, including pursuing higher education, working, joining the military, enrolling in a post-graduate program or participating in a gap year.

The key to successful post-secondary planning rests on strong communication among the parties involved: the student, the parent(s)/guardian(s), and the counselor. This is an exciting journey as you explore and discover the opportunities that are available to you. We aim to minimize the uncertainty that can surround this process.
