Crestline 2020 Invention Convention
Complete ONE FORM per invention. Invention submissions are limited to 3 total inventors.

This form must be submitted by Monday, March 9th. Inventions are to be brought to the school auditorium on Wednesday, March 11th.

Inventions will be placed in the judging category of the oldest participant. Judging categories are K-2nd, 3rd-4th, and 5th-6th. Submissions are limited to 3 total inventors this year.

Students are encouraged to record a 1-minute video on Flipgrid (optional)to share their invention with those who visit the convention. The link to this easy-to-use site is http://flipgrid.com/cesinvents. Video recordings need to be completed outside of school and prior to the day of the convention.

Disclosure
I understand that my child's invention is not legally protected by the disclosure and that, if such protection is desired in the U.S, a patent must be submitted to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (U.S.PTO) within one year of the date that the invention was publicly disclosed. Within the one year period, I will take appropriate steps if I decide to pursue legal action of the invention. I also agree to hold the member Invention Convention sponsors  harmless from any action resulting in loss of patent rights due to the disclosure of the invention as part of the above -identified program. The member Invention Convention sponsors may use my child's invention, name, and photographs to publicize this program.
