2024 Spring Carnival was a Huge Success!

4/21/2024 1:00 pm

A HUGE thank you to all our MPE families and friends for making our Spring Carnival, "Around the World with Millie", a true success! Looking at the countless smiling faces, everyone was having a wonderful time.

This wasn't possible without our super volunteers, sponsors, generous local businesses for silent auction donations and room-parents for putting together our raffle baskets (and the parents that donated to fill them). A special shout-out to our teachers who came out, especially those in the dunk-tank for being such good sports.

Congratulations to all the Silent Auction and Raffle winners. Click here to view the winners list. Raffle baskets can be picked up on Tuesday and Wednesday during carpool.

The Carnival is a school wide effort and all of you totally rocked it! THANK YOU for all of your hard work and spirit for our school!

WCPSS Family Survey

4/12/2024 1:06 am

Families of Mills Park Elementary,

Help us make your child’s school experience as positive and beneficial as possible by giving honest, thoughtful responses to the questions in our family survey.  By completing this survey, we hope to continue to create and strengthen partnerships with families and to strengthen family engagement to support strong student academic and social outcomes for students. Families will be surveyed on the following topics:
  • Barriers to Engagement
  • Family Engagement
  • School Climate
  • Background Questions
We are excited to learn more from our families by your honest and thoughtful responses. We use the results of this survey as we work on our school improvement plan with our leadership team and entire school staff. This way we can continue to strive to make your child's school experience as positive and beneficial as possible.

All Wake County Public Schools families are being asked to take this survey. The survey is school specific, so make sure you select Mills Park Elementary. The survey has 21 questions and takes on average 7 minutes to complete. It is live from April 8 - May 17. For more information, please visit this link:  bit.ly/WCPSSFamilySurvey

If you are having trouble finding the link to the actual survey, click HERE. On that screen you will see the survey is available in 7 languages. You know you have completed the survey when a "Thank You" screen shows up.

I'm here to help you navigate this survey and answer any questions you may have. Please do not hesitate to reach out. My email is: ncsnyder@wpcss.net or you can reach me by phone: 919-466-1466 x 20790.

We all truly appreciate the time you spend completing this survey and are looking forward to processing through the results so we can strengthen our practices at Mills Park Elementary in order to best serve your children.

Thank you very much,
Nancy Snyder
